I've used it once or twice and there's a lot to like about the design! First a warning: this isn't for rubbing much. You'll probably need a different kitchen tool if you need more than 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of something. This is because the actual grate surface isn't that long, requiring you to make shorter passes for the same amount of grated material. But it does come with a useful set of grates, including a mandolin-style cutting board. Also comes with a "handle" to reduce rubbing of your fingers in the process, making it easier to grate certain types of food. I love grating in a closed container, and even more so a mess. And a lot of attention has been paid to the design so that everything fits together and is stored neatly. Rated + for that! The only thing I would add is that a cleaning tool would be a nice addition as the grilles and "handle" are difficult to clean. Also maybe some markings to make it clearer which direction the grill plates are going as they prepare to make some sort of grill. That part isn't as clear as it could be, although I finally got it. But overall I'm glad I got it.
