Not the best for December in Wisconsin
I bought two sets of these lights to decorate a tree in my yard. The lights are nice and unobtrusive - you can see them from the street, but they're not powerful enough to keep people up at night - and I really like the different flicker modes. Although the instructions say the lights will charge on cloudy days. , I have not found this to be the case. The light works great after a sunny day, but not so much after a cloudy day. As for the Christmas lights, this was a little disappointing as it was overcast for most of December. The solar panels have (mostly) survived snow and extreme cold, so that's a plus.
