I've researched all the brands and even after reading the 5 star (but still negative) reviews from Revain I still bought this product and I'm glad I did . I called Water Pik and they confirmed that I would kill the battery if I left it on, so I now charge it after every use and ONLY when I'm home to see the charger turn off. After a month I learned to use high and only fill 4 times, once in front, then back, top and bottom. Better have a tank. Aside from the TERRIBLE design of the battery, the biggest complaint is that it's not designed to drain completely from the drain hole (higher than the water case inside). It's always fun to rip off the floor. I just shake it, then put it on a paper towel because it will leak for a while and let the cork open to air dry.
