So I replaced my MOBO a while ago because my mouse kept disconnecting. Definitely had to upgrade, no big deal. I put in a new PC along with a new mobo VGA processor etc while keeping the old case and power supply. After a few months, my mouse turned itself off again. I've gone through all the selective interrupts and turned them off, fixed nothing. Then I noticed that in fact all USB connections were disconnected. I've searched the web but haven't found anything other than preventing Windows from disconnecting USB. I always thought, well, there has to be food. So I bought this thing and tested it, I was right, the 5V rail doesn't work in the Corsair CS700 PSU. By the way, this is the second Corsair that doesn't work for me. But this little tester showed right away that I was only getting 4.1V on the 5V rail. Yes I could test it with a multimeter but I figured for $13 it would be a nice touch to have on hand. Perhaps best of all are the instructions that come on the back of a very standard package. I had to look up what PG 150ms mean.
