I just bought a 2nd Wi-Fi extender and I'm tired of scanning 5 versions of my network every time see. Also, I didn't want to keep adding an extension to improve my range. After learning about mesh networks, I decided to give Orbi a try, especially since it had Alexa built into it. After setting it up as an access point to work with my existing modem upstairs and installing a satellite downstairs, it works great. I get full bars everywhere in our 3,000 square foot house. I didn't have to reboot my router or keep restarting extensions like I used to. I especially like the app with the ability to monitor the system, see how many devices are using it and the ability to run speed tests to see how the network is performing. The speeds that Orbi tests at are actually faster than the speeds advertised by my ISP. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
