ok this is the BOMB! saved me so much work. I installed a strip just above the huge windshield of my Class A RV to keep water and dew off the windshield and sides. This completely removed the dark and dirty streaks from the glass. Every morning I had to climb the stairs on the street and scrape the streaks off the windshield, a 15-20 minute process that luckily I no longer have to do. The channel adheres very well after cleaning the surface with mineral sprites and flexes enough to follow around the top of the shield. Be sure to position it correctly the first time because once it's stuck there forever, peel off the backing about one foot at a time and line it up with the windshield rubber grommet. OEM looks and does the job, a bit expensive and I wish it was 10ft long but it is, now I have an extra. It hasn't been a hot summer yet but I expect it will stick as the 3M glue is the same as used for car emblems.
