I bought the set for $69 which is a very good price for a set. For most of my life, I've gotten by with various ratchet screwdrivers (or a screwdriver) with interchangeable tips. I had a couple of old single purpose screwdrivers that I had accumulated over the years that didn't need updating. The inferior bits, inferior feel, jobs that required a long skinny tool, and some jobs that felt more complex than they should have made me upgrade. After a lot of research I settled on this multipurpose kit (because I didn't have a specific job in mind). I've already had several opportunities to use different screwdrivers over the past few weeks and I'm very satisfied. Laser-etched heads and high quality steel cut perfectly into the screws. That gives a great sense of security. I wasn't sure about the shape of the pen at first, but it works very well. The wider center gives you extra leverage to turn the screwdriver quickly with your fingertips. The work gets done faster and easier. The solid base saved me a few times too - why isn't this standard on all screwdrivers? And the last mention of a screwdriver to check the tension. I already had one when I lived in Europe where 220v voltage will kill you. They're hard to find in US hardware stores and very handy - I hate to be shocked and it will save your bacon.
