Since the Spirit set was themed for my 4 year old granddaughter's birthday, my grandfather pre-assembled the barn and put it on the gift table. (Lucky and ghost figures were included in the cake set.) Our granddaughter loved the barn, although she only had one horse (an extra one included in the set) to play with, we couldn't take her out of the barn. When her little friends arrived, they were all playing with the barn and a horse. In the end her mom decided we needed to clean up the shed so we could continue the party. Grandpa and I felt like winners! The next morning she woke her father and asked if he wanted to play with her new shed. As grandparents, choosing gifts for our grandchildren is always a challenge. We realize that anything we give away can turn out to be a bunch of toys that aren't actually played with. It was the first time we knew we had 10 points in a long time!
