The perfect everyday whiskey glass

I drink bourbon and scotch regularly and usually use the traditional Rocks or Glencairn glasses. Both are great glasses and each has its own purpose to be sure. However, a regular whiskey (1.5-2 ounces) looks pathetic in a Rocks glass and Glencairn, while perfect for sniffing and tasting, can seem too subtle and sophisticated to enjoy as usual by the fire or in the evening drinking in my chair. .Enter this glass. I have provided photos alongside the 750ml bottle of Lagavulin to help determine the size. Filled to the brim, the jar holds approximately 3.5 ounces. Thus, the standard filling fills the glass about halfway. Just perfect. You can even add an ice cube if you like whiskey that way (although large scoops of ice won't do). The glass has a thick bottom and sides and is inexpensive, so I enjoy drinking from this glass every day. It weighs 8.7 ounces compared to the Glencairn's 4.7 ounces, so it's a good weight and feels good in the hand. I would buy them again and again, but how much do you need? I bought two. Also, these things seem to be pretty durable, so they should last a long time. If you drink whiskey and are looking for a glass, buy at least one of these, but for the price you can get a pair.
