Review on Braun Shaver Series 3 3040s Japanese Import - Wet and Dry Electric Razor for Men with Pop Up Trimmer by Dawn Clark

I had a similar Braun 390cc/5772 that came with the 5783 Clean & Refresh Station but the old NiMH batteries held less charge and it was time to replace the cutting head. This imported JP 3040s/5416 seemed to have all the features I actually used and was at a good price so I decided to order it. This 3040 shaver comes with an American style plug (fits me in the US) that supports 100V to 240V. Although the packaging is made for Japan, the razor says it's made in China. I was pleased with the performance of the 3040s shaver. My little problem was that I was hoping that the cleaning and refurbishing station for my old razor (the 5783 that came with my 390cc/5772 razor) would work with this new 3040s/5416 razor. The new razor works a little differently: it doesn't work when connected to a charger and it doesn't go through the old Clean & Refresh Station, although it fits and charges. This part of my update didn't work.
