Review on 🌟 Light Up Illuminated Ballerina by Thames Kosmos by Keith Leach

I bought this after looking for the best present for a nine year old girl. My granddaughter was happy with this but once we started putting it together it quickly became apparent that it wasn't easy to put together and certainly not something a 9 year old could do. I'm pretty good at fine motor skills and visual tasks, but I needed both the picture instructions that came with it and the YouTube video (which, due to the speed at which the assembler was being demonstrated, paused and rewound every few seconds to see what exactly she did) to find out and make lots of mistakes. Imagine my dismay when, after several hours of assembly, the video showed that it had to be taken apart to install the lights. I was even confused when I put it back together. It's not very attractive in daylight, but it will make a great night light for a little girl. The packaging says "Assembly in 45 minutes". It took 20 to separate all the parts. The bird's eye view in the video was helpful, but I never got a good view from above and that's where I fell into a trap. If I had had the opportunity to repeat it I would not have bought it.
