Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced ABN Tool for Easy Removal of Steering Wheel Lock Plate by Paul Dobson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

πŸ‘πŸ‘ great for 91 suburbs and k5 jimmy

First of all, dumbass can get a little thick in my blood sometimes: the first steering wheel I pulled was from an '81 Mustang that had nothing but a rubber mallet and a couple had electrical outlets. It didn't go well. Last November my brother bought a '91 Jimmy K5 with a broken turn signal lever. He tried climbing through the steering column several times, again not the best results due to lack of proper tools. Fast forward to last month, I bring you a country house in '91 with a bad ignition cylinder. Check out some videos on Youtwitface, ordered this and a decent steering wheel puller, then waited a few days. It's easy to use, especially with all the social media tutorials. I've seen this tool with closer support spacing, which might have been better for my year-old truck (91 r2500), but a little extra care kept everything intact. The tool is optional, but if you're reading this, there's a good chance it'll save you a headache and bruised ankle.

Pros
  • handy thing
