As a former Bosch fuel injection specialist and German auto mechanic, I chose this sensor because of the Bosch name and the quality I saw when I saw the product. I was not disappointed. The contacts were gold plated like the original. I knew Japanese automakers who licensed Bosch injection technology to their automakers decades ago. Why install a ten dollar part just to have it perform like new and then doubt that the problem is more complex? When you consider how important this part is to fuel economy and engine health, there is no excuse to buy the cheapest part.
