Great coffee great price

Just so you know where I'm from. I don't roast my beans, but I'm more of a coffee drinker than most people I know. I have an espresso machine that I've used regularly since the 90's, I grind my beans just before I make my coffee (with an amazing Breville cone grinder), and have owned a Technivorm for several years. I have a Nespresso machine in my office at work because coffee at work is rubbish. So. I appreciate a decent cup of coffee and only compromise when there are no other options. My ex took Technivorm when we broke up and I've decided not to buy another one as I usually only have one cup each weekday morning. I started looking for alternatives for higher weekend usage and found a very positive review of this machine. It's been on Revain's wish list for a long time, as I've worked with servings per serving, one cup at a time, to decide if it's worth the extra counter space for something I eat once or twice a week will use. I had enough last weekend after going back to the mill four times in one morning and taking it to the cart. It was very easy to set up and they included a few filters to get me started (I only had #2). . After running the water a few times, I added some fresh soil, turned on the "Bloom" function and gave it a whirl. I don't know if the bloom function had any effect, but it produced a solid cup of joe, on par with Technivorm I'd say. Some people have commented on the build quality for the price. it is excellent. It's not as durable as Technivorm, but it's worth 1/3 to 1/2 its price. I guess they advertise the models and maybe they think the $110 model should be amazing compared to the $30 mass market brand at Costco? On the other hand (high market) compared if it lasts this is a great product at a great price. Time will tell if it holds up. If this post isn't updating with crash messages when you read it, it means it's still working.
