They may have updated the scope of delivery after all those grumpy reviews were posted but the one I got has a 20ft cord perfect for my Class A RV was, and a plastic bracket. It reads easily and appears to be fairly accurate. I installed it and the heavy duty switch in a waterproof box. I'm a bit worried about the heat build up, but I put a lot of copper into it so hopefully it won't be too bad. I might end up changing it. I just want to keep this out of the elements. It was just what I needed to complete the conversion to a lithium battery in my RV. The voltage curve across them is so flat that you cannot rely on how much charge is left. Now it should tell me how much is left and I can decide when to charge it. Since it runs all the time, I installed a heavy duty switch between it and the battery negative terminal. I didn't want it to work with everything else disabled. Only later did I think I could put a simple switch on the positive wire and it should have done the same thing. I added a fuse to the positive wire. Apparently it should be there.
