This monitor was purchased for installation in a van to monitor a single 150Ah AGM battery and a Renogy solar system. It works like a charm and gives me peace of mind that I won't drain my house battery. It tells me in amps how much load and input is happening in real time as well as how long the current load can be sustained. Setup was pretty easy. Unfortunately, the device was not perfect immediately after purchase. This appears to be a manufacturing defect with friction lugs intended to hold the screen in place. They are not fully developed. They may have updated the scope of delivery after all those grumpy reviews were posted but the one I got has a 20ft cord perfect for my Class A RV was, and a plastic bracket. It reads easily and appears to be fairly accurate. I installed it and the heavy duty switch in a waterproof box. I'm a bit worried about the heat build up, but I put a lot of copper into it so hopefully it won't be too bad. I might end up changing it. I just want to keep this out of the elements.
