I've bought these sponges before. I like to use them when finishing furniture repairs and applying polyacrylate coatings. I pour a small amount into a shallow plastic bowl and dip a sponge in it, then rub the top of the furniture from side to side or apply the end of the sponge to the sides and legs of the furniture. . Works much better than a brush!
