These application pads hurt my hands during use because the yellow foam part which is the "grip" is very soft. Holding it is like holding air, so my fingers were pinched throughout the application. The result is sore fingers and a sore hand that you will never use again.

I've bought these sponges before. I like to use them when finishing furniture repairs and applying polyacrylate coatings. I pour a small amount into a shallow plastic bowl and dip a sponge in it, then rub the top of the furniture from side to side or apply the end of the sponge to the sides and legs of the furniture. .
