I got tired of the rear window on my 200,000 mile 16 year old Suburban falling on my head, especially when it was cold, and ended up buying it as a replacement for the factory originals. Installation is straightforward in every sense of the word (removing the old ones was more difficult, mainly due to age). Now the window stays open nice and safe, but closes easily with one hand. I would say I would buy them again but if they last as long as the originals we will see over 600,000 miles and 32 years by then.
