Easy to assemble, holds the window in place

My old shock absorbers were worn out and the glass kept hitting my head. I bought these because some reviewers said the dampers are very springy and hold the window open with ease. I thought that was absolutely right. Took off the old ones and installed these in less than 5 minutes. No questions. They work great. Thanks for a good product!

Easy install and great performance

Bought these for my 2004 Yukon which is the same as the Tahoe and Suburban. There is a small locking clip that you bend with a small screwdriver and the old posts come off easily. These new posts snap right into place. At first they seem too strong, but either I've gotten used to them or they've weakened a bit. I am very happy with the purchase.

Perfect for 2001 Yukon XL

You are great! I decided it was time to replace it when my wife complained about being hit in the head by the rear window while unloading groceries. I didn't think it was that important until I got hit in the head during installation. πŸ™†β€β™‚οΈ lol. But they are great. Not too strong, but enough to raise the rear window with a slight jerk. Good price and highly recommended.

Inexpensive and very easy to install

I got tired of the rear window on my 200,000 mile 16 year old Suburban falling on my head, especially when it was cold, and ended up buying it as a replacement for the factory originals. Installation is straightforward in every sense of the word (removing the old ones was more difficult, mainly due to age). Now the window stays open nice and safe, but closes easily with one hand. I would say I would buy them again but if they last as long as the originals we will see over 600,000 miles and 32…

Perfect fit and early delivery

Ordered this for my 2002 Yukon SLT which had the original window spacers which no longer held the glass. Estimated delivery date was two days but it was delivered the next day so I was able to install it over the weekend. The blocks fit perfectly and snap into place with no issues. Old Post Removal Tip = The top band is very tight and has a much smaller access slot than the bottom band - use a very small flat head screwdriver to get to the underside and loosen the band. Total installation time…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some bugs

Worked on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe

Easy to replace. Fixed an issue caused by weak glass lift braces. The only problem I see is that they are a bit stiff. A small child can pull themselves up on the glass and the glass will not fall. You need to take your time and pull down the middle. I'm not sure if you just drag something from anywhere and too fast, you won't slow it down. 8/22/20 Edit my review: The hits were very hard. I thought they would soften over time but they didn't. They created another problem. The glass hinge is…
