It didn't last a year

I bought it so I wouldn't have to pay Comcast to rent a modem. It was fine at first, but sometimes I had to restart. I bought it in April 2020 but it stopped communicating in February 2021. I got up and was told that he left at 5:00 am. I tried rebooting but there was no change so I had to call comcast to see if the disconnect happened. There wasn't one, but I was told there was a new job in my area. I had a very disappointing night with Comcast until they said it had to be a modem even though they could communicate with it. I called Arris for assistance but the outsourcer said they couldn't help me as it was an outdated model and hung up. I gave up and agreed to rent a Comcast. I was actually hoping it wouldn't work, but it did. I'm so frustrated and frustrated right now I think I'm about to have a stroke, I hate Comcasts and having to pay rent for it. I wouldn't say they intentionally deinitialized the modem. However, the lack of service and support for this product means this company should be avoided.
