Review on 🚀 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rear Hatch Liftgate Lift Supports (Pack of 2) - 4856 4857 by Haji Anderson

Rear door shock absorbers have long since lost their strength. 3 years to be exact and I had to replace them. I found them at a very reasonable price and took a chance. They came with little fanfare. Cardboard box with 2 shock absorbers in plastic sleeves and bubble bags. Nothing more. The shock absorbers are marked L and R on the bolt plate, so make sure they face the rear of the vehicle. I made the mistake of putting an L on the right side and the mounting plate didn't fit properly. After the correction everything was fine. The only thing I struggled with was loosening the mounting screws as mine are shaped like a convex star. I was able to remove them with a wrench, but it wasn't easy. In general, after installation, everything worked. So far no problems. I'm glad I made the investment as the stick support is outdated.
