Has the ability to program IMMO FOB keys. Works on 2008 Nissan Rogue SL

Great for the price. Has already paid for itself. I was able to program 5 IMMO chip keys and 2 smart fobs for my 2008 Nissan Rogue SL with proximity and immobilizer. I now have keyless entry and can start the car while the keys are in the car without having to put the key in the ignition. I have keyless entry, a smart fob, but no push to start. But I can just turn on the ignition to get started. The local locksmith wanted to charge me ยฃ75 just to code my smart keys, not my fobs and not my head fobs. For this particular IMMO/Ignition system, the FOB head keys only work as door and ignition keys. You cannot program remote controls with this rogue model. He needs smart keychains. I will be buying 3 more smart fobs to have as spare fobs. The FOB head keys are now my backup keys in case I lose my smart fobs. I just received a ThinkDiag 2 unit a few hours ago to test its IMMO capabilities. I haven't had a chance to use it as a scanner yet. You need an Android or Apple device, it is best to use a smartphone and download the app from the respective Play Store. The device connects to your vehicle's OBD port and you then connect to the device via Bluetooth. It looks like it only comes with 1 year of extended services. I don't know the price for further years yet. But for the price, it's a wondertastic. If you use it to program IMMO, keys and fobs for compatible vehicles, it pays for itself by programming just 1 or 2 keys and/or fobs. Programming can cost you anywhere from $50 to $500 per key or FOB depending on which shop, technician, locksmith or dealer you visit. Along with this I ordered a $500 key programmer. But after this one did everything I needed, I was able to cancel my $500 programmer order. With this device you get many possibilities. I can't wait to try it out as a scan tool and see what else it can do with my and friends' cars. Excellent car diagnostic tool and key programmer and FOB IMMO for its price. Very important. I recommend for your tool box.

Note. The maintenance functions that each vehicle can perform may vary.
