Important Notes for Easy Installation

We bought a new home with 3 HVAC zones. The previous owners had a service contract for ongoing maintenance, which we took over. During the inspection, the technician recommended that we should install compressor engineers. Got an award from them. $330 per item. Only $990. But since I had a maintenance contract, they saved me 10%. So call it $900 in round numbers. While he was writing his report, I searched Revane and showed him these parts. He told me his price includes the labor. I then uploaded the setup to YouTube and showed him. Long story short I purchased these from Revain following the YouTube instructions carefully and it took me 15 minutes to install the first one because I've never done it before and I was very careful not to put a mounting screw hole in it to drill the coil. It then took less than 5 minutes to make each of the others. Before attempting to install I called my old HVAC friend and he said he would install them for $95 a support call. I knew him well enough and he knew my skills and told me it was a simple setup and if I wanted to try it myself he would be my support when I got stuck. I guess that's why he's been my HVAC friend for over 20 years. Important Notes: Use caution when drilling to avoid hitting the cooling coils behind the case. Make sure you have space to install two pieces. TURN OFF THE SWITCHES ON THE EQUIPMENT before starting work.
