Let me start by saying that the DVD player works. Unfortunately, that's the limit of the praise I can give him. The remote control battery cover broke on first use. The DVD player itself appears to be made out of plastic which is LESS durable than the remote control. The player buzzes/creaks/hums during gameplay. If the volume on the TV is high enough, then it's not audible, but audible during pauses in the video. Picture quality just seems to be. That's not bad. It's just noticeably less sharp than our 10-year-old DVD player. Basically it's like what you would buy at a store for $5 and less in a trash can. I would recommend you shop elsewhere. There are many other options for discount DVD players.
