I was looking for a device that could be connected quickly and easily. Connecting to it couldn't be easier. It worked great right out of the box. I wish the remote had a backlight or fluorescent glow for nighttime viewing.

I bought this to replace the one that was returned. Unfortunately, when I received it, I did not connect and test it immediately. Today I finally connected but found the remote not working. It's behind a rear window, so I just screwed it up.

I bought this to use with Amazon audiobooks but was disappointed that you can't stop at a chapter without starting over. The book I listened to was six hours long and consisted of several chapters, but you can't stop and pause. You must start at the beginning of the book or read the entire book within six hours.

The player has to be a bit heavier so that an inserted DVD doesn't easily detach from the surface. Also, the remote should be more sensitive to button presses, so you don't have to stand over the device for it to do what you want it to do. Considering the cost, the device performs well, although the small improvements mentioned above would have been nice. not so.

I wish I had bought it. I have a 55" FireTV. The image on the screen is very small! There is now a function mode on the remote that resizes BUT it doesn't fill the screen. I hate the wide screen but would love to have this instead of the small box image that would fit a 20" old TV! I just play my movies on another DVD player in my office.

Let me start by saying that the DVD player works. Unfortunately, that's the limit of the praise I can give him. The remote control battery cover broke on first use. The DVD player itself appears to be made out of plastic which is LESS durable than the remote control. The player buzzes/creaks/hums during gameplay. If the volume on the TV is high enough, then it's not audible, but audible during pauses in the video. Picture quality just seems to be. That's not bad. It's just noticeably less sharp
