This is a good anti-glare filter, not sure about the blue filter but it retains sharp colours. I am very happy with it. Installation is not difficult, no bubbles remain. My monitor had an issue where the original anti-glare coating was peeling off leaving spots and an odd appearance. Apple remembered it, but it's over now and I'd have to pay a small fortune to have it replaced with a very old computer. So I decided to use an external anti-glare filter instead. However, the instructions that came with it weren't very helpful. I hope these tips can help: 1. Turn off your Macbook, it helps to see smudges and dirt2. Clean with microfiber and monitor cleaning solution instead of the provided cloth. You may want to brush well a few times to make sure it is very clean.3. Use the supplied cloth for final cleaning.4. Use the provided dust removal sticker to remove any remaining dust. Clean the filter as dirt on it may get onto the monitor when the filter is installed.6. When attaching foil, the sticker labeled 1 is the side that sticks to the monitor (I had the blue sticker). 7. Align the filter carefully on one side, if aligned well it will fit perfectly in the other corners. Use the prescription map when applying the filter, this is the easiest way to avoid blisters.
