I bought a few different scanners to test and while this was the cheaper option it worked better overall. Pros: - Option to hide pop-up keyboard for iOS - Easy Bluetooth pairing - Scan many types of 1D and 2D codes without custom settings - Significantly lower error rate than another option I tried - Larger scanning area (minimal and maximum distance from the code that the scan is consistently error-free) ) Cons: - The lack of a wrist strap, especially with a slim design, worries me that it will often fall off when used for full shifts - Shutdown: So far the only way to rotate Outside of the scanner, I can scan the "Sleep Immediately" code in the manual or wait for it to go to sleep after a set sleep interval. I hope there is another easy way that I just overlooked. Unknown: Long Term Reliability: I'm writing this review after about an hour of testing, so I don't know if it will work that well over time. Battery life: one. One of the reasons I picked this particular model was the longer battery life, but I didn't have enough time to find out if it was accurate.
