Unusual uses for closet door bumpers

Bumpers are great for my intended use, which I'm sure isn't your intended use. I use it to support the small wooden puzzle pieces that our woodworking club makes each year for the local organization Marines Toys for Tots. The bumper pads (without removing individual pads) are placed onto a piece of plywood using glue to glue them together as in the first two photos. The pads give the puzzle pieces a "little grip" when we finally spray them with water-based paint. The bumper tip is much sharper than any we've seen and offers a very small point of contact with the puzzle pieces. Works great for our app! Each year we donate over 200 wooden puzzles to Toys for Toddlers to distribute to children. One of these puzzles can be seen in the 3rd photo. By the way, I used these moldings for our cabinet doors and they are the best I have ever used in my 40 years of furniture making. They're quiet and never get sticky or leave a sticky residue like the pads the cabinet maker used when they were built 12 years ago.
