Review on Pebbly Beach Comfortbale Triangle Rotatable by Pradeep Dhimal

Inadequate fastening system - probability of failure

I regret that I did not take any photos for this review before returning this seat. On the positive side, it makes the subcutaneous tissue look good and is well made with one hidden exception. When I got to the issue, I noticed that the screws holding the lower fairing to the seat were small and not fully screwed in in places. I assumed the seat would be secured to the pivot post with plugs that may not have been opened when the seat was complete. So I loosened 7 screws. There's a plastic grille on the underside, with screws placed where the plastic strips intersect (to be clear, the grille is molded, but only about twice the thickness of the screws). Only these screws (four out of seven) can be used to attach the seat to the luggage rack. These bolts barely covered the slots in the seatpost, and since such a seat is commonly used in a cast front platform, I can't imagine it would take long for the plastic to fail, the bolts to pull out of the paste, or failed. through the bracket - or all three. Nice seat but not designed to be secure. Too bad.
