I recently got 2 flagpoles and noticed the plastic flag rings didn't rotate smoothly. I was also concerned about longevity in the elements given that plastic tends to become brittle under the sun.I spotted these stainless steel flag rings and decided to give it a try. I liked them so much, I bought a second pair. They are very well made and sturdy.They spin and rotate smoothly without any snags. Also, they use a recessed allen wrench type screw, while the plastic ones I had used a twist key that caught on the flag clips. These steel ones are a much better design and work flawlessly. I'm glad I got 2 sets.
