This bra is perfect for post surgery. The compression and support is better than another bra I've paid twice as much for. The shoulder straps allow for a bit of adjustment and I think the zipper pulls out better than all the tiny hooks these bras have. Admittedly, this means it doesn't offer the same adaptability when the swelling goes down. A week after the operation, this is no longer a problem for me. The tape doesn't rub my stitches like my doctor did. The material is also very soft and doesn't irritate at all. I also love that it's a bra that I can use for post-recovery workouts. It was worth every part I paid for it and then some. Very important! I am so happy with this purchase.
