Review on πŸš— Roadmaster 8700 Invisibrake Hidden Power Braking System: Ultimate Performance in Black by Jonathan Unruh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Plan accordingly, take your time. one of my top 10 purchases on wheels.

Installation is a little harder than I thought. (cable/cylinder). Allow a little extra time to get it right. The device works well, hassle-free and is completely hidden. The best part is that you don't have to see anything when you're hanging out for a quick trip if you're somewhere "sleeping". Roadmaster products never disappoint and I can't imagine that they will. 2500 miles later it was worth every dollar spent and every minute spent installing it. The device worked flawlessly on all roads/conditions we used it on. Felt absolutely safe. Long gradients were controlled by braking and releasing the brakes after 45 seconds to prevent the brakes from overheating, even when the "Jake Brake" on the bus was left on for longer. We stopped in Cody, Wyoming, unhooked and looked around while the bus was parked. Not messing with the braking system was very nice. Just unhook the clutch and go. Connect the pole and go again. There is no adjustable, moveable braking device. Nothing.

Pros
  • Approximate maximum air pressure is 100psi
Cons
  • Boring packaging
