Review on CURT 13240 Trailer Receiver Hyundai by Jesus Gallagher

This clutch ships within two days of order. I was able to install it on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE Plus in about an hour with no problems. I didn't have to remove the muffler from the suspension. I had the rear wheel of the car on ramps so I had about 4-5 inches of ground clearance. I followed the instructions and also watched a YouTube video before starting. It helps if you have someone help you lift the hitch (it's heavy). I managed to put it on a block of 2 x 4 wood blocks and took my time screwing in 2 screws on one side and doing the same with the 2 screws on the other side. Then I installed two more bolts on either side and started tightening the bolts with a wrench. Make sure the screw conical washer is installed with the convex side facing the screw head. I installed a similar Curt hitch on my 2013 Hyundai Tucson and had to remove the muffler from the hanger to ease the installation. Nice design and the tow hitch is almost completely hidden behind the bumper. I don't use this hitch for towing, I use this to mount my Go Rhino bumper as an extra barrier so someone from behind doesn't do much damage to my car's bumper and tailgate.
