It works exactly as I wanted it to
I had a couple of traction chains that are old and a bit rusty. Wanted to switch to newer (smoother metal) chains for easier control of my lights/fans. They work great - look way better than my old ones and feel sturdy enough. I cut the chains to the right length with garage scissors. So, no no, if you need traction chains, they're perfect.
