I started with a big disappointment as no DP cable was included. The display always dims when I feel like it - when trying to enable HDR, when switching between monitors, etc. ASUS sent me the cable after a long tech call trying to fix many issues. After a blank screen, I found that if I turn off and unplug the monitor, it reboots and works again, usually only during BIOS boot, and then goes blank before Windows starts. I went online and found that others were having issues with HDMI, which also limits you to 100Hz. Still some red/green halos in dark scenes during gameplay. Otherwise a sharp, bright picture.
