Loved this remote. I tried the previous one on Revain and the biggest issue was the placement of the airtag with the speaker facing in, causing a very muffled ping. This remote gets it right and places the Airtag so it's facing outward. The back area is covered with a thin layer of rubber material. When you ping the Airtag, it's not as loud as the outside of the case, but loud enough to hear when you're around. Nothing beats the quiet sound of other AirTag cases. I was also concerned about the thickness of the case but when I received it it is shaped like this, that it really doesn't feel that big in your hands. The build quality is excellent, the only thing where the strap connects is flimsy and I can see it breaking if someone uses it a lot. We don't, so I don't see that as a problem. Pros: - Build quality - Great design - AirTag speakers facing outwards - Minimal impact on Airtag audio volume - IR sensor has a large opening in the front - The bottom also has space for charging cables - Price Cons: - I wouldn't mind , if the back has been cut to show the airtag, especially if you have engraved it.- The lanyard connector is flimsy and can break with heavy use. where the strap connects is flimsy and I can see it breaking if someone uses it a lot.
