This lamp does not suit me. I liked the idea of a phone charging lamp. So - I have it. Looks nice and bright. However, there are some problems. I tried charging different phones including Apple and Droid. While everyone calls and says it's charging, when you put it down and finally find a place to charge, it stops charging within seconds. The phones have no cases and are all charged wirelessly. As a consumer, I don't have to fiddle with a charger to get it to do its job. The charger doesn't work for me. The lamp is bright, but goes out immediately after switching on. I turn it back on and it seems to stay. It's an odd quirk, but it's there. The timer function seems to be working properly. Overall, I rate this lamp as a major failure. It doesn't work for me as I read and expected. Should come back for me. Thank you for reading.
