Review on Philips Hue Ambiance LightStrip Assistant by Jamie Mousavi

My light bar worked great for 4 months then stopped working at night while I was dimming. I have contacted Philips to get them to honor the warranty by exchanging 8-10 emails with them and making 2 separate phone calls and they state that they are void of the warranty for products purchased from Revain were, will not be fulfilled. I checked the Philips website directly and it's a bunch of rubbish - the warranty covers all products regardless of retailer. Does Philips offer this kind of support for decorative lighting, which is basically very expensive? That's ridiculous. Who would buy a premium product with such terrible support?
