I sold the camera to a friend who has an escape room. They already had an analog system, but he wanted to move with the times. So I told him to order 30 Amcrest 4MP Turret cameras and built him a Blue Iris server. He liked this setup but his staff hated it so I decided to order the same DVR. Everything started well after I added about 12 cameras. But as I added more, the system became sluggish and sluggish. Viewing via the app seemed fine, but the quest room used the browser to display live views from around 12-16 different cameras on 4 different computers. After uploading all 30 cameras to this 32ch NVR, the system became very unstable. I set everything to default, cameras and NVR, and started over. Everything went smoothly right away. A day later I went there to see what I could do and the NVR showed all connected cameras on the status page but didn't create a live image. Once again I reset the NVR and wiped the hard drive. I added a camera and it behaved the same way. Connected camera shown on status page but no live view generated via HDMI, VGA, web interface or app. I had very high hopes for this system but it just didn't seem to have the horsepower. carry out advertising. I returned the Revain unit and installed a brand of unit I had used in the past but it wasn't as reasonably priced as Amcrest. I will, however, give thanks to the Amcrest cameras. They are amazing! Manufacturer's note. When connecting an Amcrest camera to an Amcrest NVR, you must have full two-way control of the cameras from the NVR, such as: B. all menu end elements. I will also say that I always install microSD cards in all my setups of every camera. I would expect the NVR to have a place to view recorded footage rather than logging in directly to do so. I'd love to try the next-gen product if it's up to the task.
