This is a 3 liter Libbey pot with lid, NOT a 2 liter pot with lid. I wanted a 3 quart pot with a lid because I already had a 1 1/2 quart pot with a lid and a 2 quart pot without a lid that needed to be covered most of the time before microwaving or the convection toaster has been placed. wanted a pot with a 3 liter lid to have a little more room and not have to be covered with anything other than a lid. From the microwave, toaster or oven, it goes straight onto the table or into the fridge if there are any leftovers. I love this oval shape, it's very easy to clean. It's a bit hard what to expect. I am happy with this Libbey pot with 3 liter lid. That's exactly what I wanted. A 3 liter pot with a lid that looks good, is healthy and easy to clean.
