In the two years after I made the purchase, I have not made extensive use of it. The only games from the third person perspective that I have played on it are Nio and Dark Souls 3, and I have only used it for racing. The cumulative amount of time used is not that great; there was a Chinese gamepad that worked for a far longer period of time and is still functioning. When the USB connector on this controller, revision 1708, flew off, my first impression was that the cable was damaged; however, it turned out that the gamepad itself was the source of the problem. You now have the option of purchasing wireless equipment for use on a personal computer (the adapter only costs 2022 dollars, and you will also need to purchase batteries or change batteries frequently). You could also order the top board and disassemble and replace it, however they are only available as used items on AliExpress, and it is unknown what condition they are in or whether or not they would function properly. Even 4,000 yen is too much to pay for this gamepad. After 100 hours of hard labor, you can say farewell and look for a new job. I'm going to give Sony a shot this time.
