Man, I've read all the negative review before I purchase this. Some of these reviewers surprise me that they can read and write. I've worked in the Automotive industry for more than 20 years, and current working for an Aerospace industry right now.First, its a electric screwdriver, not a drill. So if a screw doesn't loosen right away, break it loose like a screwdriver, then drive it the rest of the way outSecond, Like most 1/4 electric driver out there on the planet, this driver also has a spring loaded locking mechanism that you pull then push the bit in, let go and then it locks. So easy my dog could figure it out. That's why all the little bits have a little divit on them, easy peasy. If you can't figure out why your bits are falling out, then you need to go back to remedial life studies.Third, its also equipped with a lock button that prevent accidental activation, right on top. Pull it back and the locks the paddle buttons.Oh and the LED button is on the bottom of the driver. And it comes with a magnetic 1/4 bit holder (top right in the box). The short bit are used in the holder, not in the driver. If you use the shorty bits the can get stuck in the locking collar.It has small square holds on the sides for the electric motor ventilation. How else would you cool the motor. Don't be surprised if you spark every once and a while, it's a electric motor. They could have used a brushless motor, but that would triple the price.There are a few things that need improvement, this should have a trigger button rather that the side paddles. A trigger would make it more convenience, since that would make the button next to your index finger.With the paddles you have to use your thumb and index finger with a twist motion to move it forward or reverse.Also the clutch adjustment ring should have a heavier nurl to it. Its really easy to slip your fingers off it when turning because its too smooth.Ill give and update for how long it last. Remember, use Critical Thinking.
