Stuck in 3rd Gear on Jeep 06 5.7L
A friend had a problem with his 06 Jeep Commander claiming it got stuck in 3rd gear while driving. After a little research, it turned out that this is a common problem with these cars. Anyway, after removing the old solenoid and installing a new (refurbished) solenoid everything is fine now. I will say that the presence of a transmission filter and a new gasket with a magnet was a huge plus!
