Micron pens are the best. I usually stick with graphite, but when I decide to paint it I always reach for my micrometers. Great quality and you can cover quite a large area before they start to dry. I noticed that the ends of my 0.1 and 0.5 began to separate as they neared disappearance. I also love the purity of black. Some markers or pens have a brown or blue sheen depending on their chemical makeup, not to mention a strong odor - microns don't have either of those qualities. Great product - professional and student.
