Seems to work well. My Echo Dot connected immediately. What I don't like is that the blue LED status light, although it only flashes once every few seconds, is SUPER bright and causing trouble in our bedroom in the dark. Easy enough to fix with a small piece of tape and if I really want it to stop I'm sure I can just unsolder it. Update: I finally got to the wiring. I got this power supply and some 16-2 solid wires from a local hardware store: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016FG9KWQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to Placing things behind walls, so before proceeding with the actual install I let it run for at least a few hours to get a heat signature to make sure nothing looks like it's going to explode anytime soon. Here's a photo of me running it at 50% volume for an hour. Overall looks good. This one condenser gets hotter than the others, but still feels relatively cold.
