To be honest I would give it a 4.5 or 5 if the metal didn't fall out of the pin so often; Yes, it makes cleaning easier, but it also makes it more difficult to use as a clay rasp. I find it to be the perfect rasp/volume reduction tool for clay, but it's a little annoying when the metal keeps falling out. I just throw in some JnB Weld and make sure it doesn't happen again. Yes, it's easier to clean, but I'd prefer it to be more durable - and at such a great price - why not? If you are using it on clay or plaster you can leave it in a bucket overnight and it will clear up on its own.
