I bought this to remove two square feet of patched drywall, it did the job perfectly and I never touched it again.

That thing pukes! Just what I needed for a hand potter, as well as for shaping and removing excess clay. I use it on the inside of the pots to even out the surface and create a smoother texture.

The handle fell off the first day of use on a ceramic pan. I've tried putting it back in place and now I can only use it in certain directions to make sure the handle doesn't pop out again.

To be honest I would give it a 4.5 or 5 if the metal didn't fall out of the pin so often; Yes, it makes cleaning easier, but it also makes it more difficult to use as a clay rasp. I find it to be the perfect rasp/volume reduction tool for clay, but it's a little annoying when the metal keeps falling out. I just throw in some JnB Weld and make sure it doesn't happen again.
