So glad to have this option compared to not having running water in the annex all year round. But I'm not sure about the consumption costs. I know older heating cables were more prone to fire and expensive to run. I just got my electric bill which actually doubled. I only received a 9 foot section of this stuff and I'm hoping that the higher electrical "shock" (pun intended) was a combination of other factors, not just the use of the product. My rating is based on the speed of delivery and its performance. his job.
