I was concerned that in building the faraday cage in my Fender Jazz bass, that the tape would have to be soldered at the seams, or I would have to solder in jumper wires in order to maintain continuity. After installing the tape, allowing about 1/8" overlap with each piece, it worked out PERFECT! now I have a perfect faraday cage that dramatically reduced the electromagnetic noise that come from single coil pickups.
